Great deal on homebrewing stainless steel conical fermenters!

Stainless Steel Conical Fermenters for Homebrewing

Recently I went shopping for a new stainless steel conical fermenter to replace some of my aging glass carboys that had been scratching and chipping. I like stainless steel because it is so much more durable than glass, and maybe I am strange but I do not like brewing with plastic or fermenting in it.  I am always worries that it is leaching chemicals or particles into my beer; not to mention that many plastics allow oxygen to permeate into your beer slowly oxidizing it during fermentation.  Stainless steel on the other hand is not air permeable, is highly resistant to scratching and will last a lifetime if you take care of it well.

I ended up going with one of these 14 gallon stainless steel conical fermenters based on some information that I found at https://conicalfermenter.wordpress.com/. It was the best deal around that I could find and based on my research, the manufacture makes really great conical fermenters for both beer brewing and wine making.
