Stainless Steel Home Brewing Fermenters

One of my most recent home brewing acquisitions was a pair of 7 gallon stainless steel fermenters.  I have my all grain home brewing setup pretty much finished up at this point and try to go stainless steel with everything when reasonable or possible.  One of the last items that I was looking to replace was my old glass carboys.  I am always worries about cracking a full carboy so I do not like the though of using glass, but am also not a fan of plastic either.  Most of the stainless steel fermenters on the market are a bit bulky not to mention very expensive, but these were very reasonably priced at $225.  I am also still able to split my 10 gallon batches into two fermenters incase I want to pitch two different yeast varieties or add something special to half the batch in secondary such as oak cubes or fruit.  Another plus is the large size gives me an extra 1/2 gallon of hear space and they easily fit into my fermentation chamber \ chest freezer.

Needless to say, I have been very pleased with my purchase.  If you are looking to pick some up, they are available here:
